Oswaldo Rayburn: That's what I would like to know, because I don't care for Flash myself.

Ronnie Sardi: Here are free 2d animation programs...There is creatoon (I've never used it) -- that is free and allows you to do cut-out animation (sort of a SouthPark look).Project DogWaffle has a free version (and a cheap professional version). Pencil also does animation. Both handle raster style animation (i.e. non vector).Synfig allows you to do animation with vectors (similar to flash or toonboom)....Show more

Leontine Kreitz: blender 3d is a very good free program to get started with lots of buttons and menus but that comes with all 3d programs even maya and 3ds max. i used it for a year! just to get used to 3d then i went to autodesk maya a much more poerful 3d program, they made most of the transformers movie with maya

Boris Hadsall: Did you ever tested out IllusionMage - 3D Animation Software procedure? Proceed on this site : http://tinyurl.com/q4ybnpo . This could certainly save yourself!

Adrian Sherlin: Flash has a trial version. If you like it, you can buy it (or just get an activation number from someone, not that I'm suggesting you do anything illegal ;-)
