is marriage better for men than women?

Kaley Lappas: Woman hands down. All laws favor women and children. If for instance, a woman cheats in the marriage, and a divorce does happen, the first thing you think is, what did he do? The courts assume the same thing. The courts also assume that the children automatically go to the woman. Child support is paid by men. Primarily 9 to 1 ratio. Then the alimony, even if she caused or started the divorce. In Canada its even worse. We have no fault divorce. They don't consider who causes it they assume the male. Then you have to pay through the nose for a lawyer. Then support. Then your own bills. It does not matter if you have visitation rights. If she makes it hard to see the kids the courts always favor her side. Especially if you are behind in support beca! use she hasn't let you have court ordered access. Two people who truly love each other will give 100% of themselves to the other to make their spouse happy.
