How important do you consider personal style?

answers1: Pollock broke all the rules and then reinvented them in a
new light. He pioneered free-form painting which was the dominant
image of 1950's Modern Art.
answers2: 1 or 2. good for first impressions and attracting people.
but its not like anyone is going to date you or continue being your
friend just because they like the way you dress.
answers3: 10. i hate all those people trying to be something just
because its popular and its cool. and my style, i have no idea, but i
get stereotyped as goth a lot, if that helps...
answers4: In the grand scheme of things, compared to food and water,
shelter, and your loved ones being safe and healthy, personal style is
a negative 10. But if all those needs are met, then it is important
to project to the world that you are confident, and stylish, and dress
to play up your best features. I guess it's about a 5. My personal
style is probably "laid back classy". I like nice dark jeans, sweater
dresses, nice boots, mixing feminine pieces with masculine, like a
ruffly black dress with motorcycle boots with big silver buckles.
Summer time is more casual, with cute khaki shorts and pretty
spaghetti strap tank tops, floral sundresses, etc. Fall and winter, I
like nice jeans with warm, rich colored belted sweaters, pretty
scarves, knit hats.
answers5: i'd say a five. I'm not a slob but, i could care less what
style i portray. besides i change my look often and like to just go
with wherever my mind takes me. I think i am mostly casual though. I'm
married with a kid so i have no one to impress nor do i care if anyone
is.
answers6: 1...everyone thinks they have personal style but personal
style is not looking in the magazine and dressing like the people in
it...its going in the store and picking/dressing yourself in things
that appeal to you and your lifestyle...that make you look good not a
european model. So based off of society today i give it a 1.. <br>
<br>
My personal style is more vintage..not retro just vintage i love
scarves broaches...empire' waists..plaids and leathers. <br>
<br>
Hope i helped =)
answers7: i am midget so whatever fits comfortably is my style
answers8: 10 i have to look good <br>
its part of me. you guys are saying that looking hot isnt being
yourself well to me thats like me? i guess idk but looking awesome is
really important to me. <br>
i wear mini skirts a lot i love uggs and um hollister is awesome and
abercromie and OMG victorias secretttt
answers9: very imperative! #10 because my personal style is what makes
me, Me lol
answers10: 8 because ii dont got time to look good all the time. <br>

How would you create your own Gangnam Style parody song?

answers1: Open condom style and gundam style are taken so............ <br>
<br>
Eh! ladyfinger, eat it nom nom style!
answers2: Lol, the first thing that popped into my head when I read
that was Chonny..
answers3: I love Gangnam Style. It's enormously catchy But the item
that frustrates me, is that the majority men and women simply watch
that one video and pass " oh that is kpop" -.- I imply, sure, I just
like the video, dance and track and all however it is a little, I do
not know, overestimated. It's well that PSY is spreading kpop
international however I do not desire SOME men and women to believe, "
so all kpop track are comical or unserious".

What style of girls jeans are popular/ in style for the year 2012?

answers1: Styles that are popular go from colored denim too jeans
sweats...Joe's Jeans has taken the world by storm this year and
getting popular day by day with their jeans...I love them:)
answers2: You cant fairly tell untill the form variations. basically
wait and notice what the form is and then go out and get your denims.
top now the form is skinny denims incase you prefer to purchase a
number of those. You cant tell the destiny and that i dont think of
all and sundry knows whats going to be in form then, sorry :*
answers3: I would guess that skinny jeans will continue to be popular
because they look good on most people and are actually very
comfortable. I hope and predict that the low-rise jeans craze will
come to an end, because I think most of us are annoyed that every time
we sit down our jeans slide halfway down our butts. Also, that
particular style looks good on about 2% of the population. <br>
<br>
So... no one knows exactly what styles will be popular in 2012, but
those are my guesses and besides, a high-rise skinny jean will most
likely look pretty good on you.
answers4: ankle grazers will be even more popular in 2012 <br>

what is beauty to you, with personal expericences?!!!?

answers1: Watching my children experience life through their wonderful
eyes. Looking at them and understanding what is truly the full circle
of life.
answers2: Beauty is spontaneous and inconsistent.
answers3: "Beauty is that which attracts your soul, and that which
loves to give and not to receive. When you meet Beauty, you feel that
the hands deep within your inner self are stretched forth to bring her
into the domain of your heart. It is a magnificence combined of
sorrow and joy; it is the Unseen which you see, and the Vague which
you understand, and the Mute which you hear - it is the Holy of Holies
that begins in yourself and ends vastly beyond your earthly
imagination." <br>
<br>
Kahlil Gibran, "Before the Throne of Beauty" (Tears and Laughter)
answers4: Beauty is everything my GF has in abundance.
answers5: Beauty is every single thing, its only your circumstantial
perspective that makes it seem to be a single thing... I think =D
answers6: Ballet is very beautiful to me. It's graceful, elegant,
ethereal and quite beautiful to see in action. Beauty is much too big
a concept for me to answer.
answers7: ello Luke, <br>

would you rather have brains or beauty, honestly?

answers1: brains.
answers2: Honestly, I'd go with beauty. You don't need brains when
you're beautiful, people will be happy to do everything for you.
After all, have you ever seen many gorgeous homeless people? <br>
<br>
Of course, in a perfect society, the answer would be brains.
Unfortunately, we do not live in a society like that. If we did,
movie stars and celebrities would be Harvard graduates with doctorate
degrees.
answers3: both..beauty attracts a person to u first..if the person is
also intelligent,very gud! If not,u will soon loose interest(only if
the person is a real dumb-head!)
answers4: Beauty. Yup I'm vain say what you want.
answers5: beauty people consider me smart but my looks results in my
life not being nearly as fulfilled as i'd like, so far...
answers6: def. beauty , you can always get smarter.
answers7: Beauty of course(from my girls thought) but in reality a
stupid brainless bimbo doesn't mean anything out of bed
answers8: honesty
answers9: Honestly. I'd rather have brains. 'Cause not only will
brains get you far in life, you'll be very successful because you're
smart, not because you're attractive, and everything is thrown in your
direction. And you'll find a man that loves you for you, not because
you're hot.

Tuesday 17 December 2019

What is your definition of beauty?

answers1: Beauty is the looks that make you feel comfortable :)
answers2: One who does good things, thinks good things, feels good,
and is happy. <br>
This will manifest into physical beauty, whatever you consider
physically beautiful is up to you though.
answers3: Beauty is holiness exuding. It is a charm of the face, even
without a smile in the lips and in the eyes, but most of all of the
good-natured attitude of an individual expressed in kindness and
compassion. It is an art which is inborn, a natural one. It may be
expressed in different forms, from poems to theater, to music which
nourishes the soul through its mellow, peace-loving melody. It is
also expressed in visuals, like the still one, which is painting or
slides. But maybe, most of all, because it carries God in his/her
heart, if a person, and in the heart of the art, which is its soul.
Beauty is at par with the ideal, the good, and the true. This is all
I can say for the moment. Beauty can also be found in scents, like
perfumes. It is also felt through touches, especially if I could
touch you with the fingers of my soul...
answers4: My favourite fashioner is the one who fashioned us
answers5: i honestly think it depends on the person's preferences. it
sounds cliche but beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
answers6: beauty is everything that is good in life.
answers7: Beauty is something that stops me in my tracks in amazement
and wonder. I can never describe it in words and do it justice. It
transcends words' meaning. <br>
<br>
Actually, I would say it transcends the physical and communicates with
the soul.
answers8: If you can define it, it aint beauty
answers9: To me, beauty is harmony. <br>
In sounds, harmony creates music, and the most beautiful feelings
arise from inside your soul while the tunes are adjusting your
neurotic system to its beats. <br>
In paintings, mixing agreeable colors and shapes create fantastic
impressions in your mind and soul just by looking at an expressive
work of art. <br>
In engineering, harmonious shapes and designs are awe-inspiring and
emphasize the sense of touch and solid reality. <br>
In Nature, the colors, the breathing of life among the trees and
flowers that are wildly scattered over the mountains, overlooking a
glittering brook giggling down the valley, make you feel alive and
inspired. <br>
In people, harmony of looks and behavior; appearance and signals
coming from inside the person, together they create attraction, which
is the door to appreciating the persons' beauty. <br>
In children, the simplicity of their innocence mixed with their
helplessness and need for your care work together to provoke your
expectations of their future and stir your feeling of tenderness
towards them, is a form of beauty of life creation. <br>
In animals, birds, insects and all living organisms, the order, the
perfection of the live chain of existence is awe-inspiring and creates
the feeling of beauty. <br>
In our souls, the harmony between what we feel and what we see creates
happiness which is the inner beauty. <br>
Harmony is the key, but for the senses it requires colors, shapes and
contents, and for the soul it requires appreciation for positive
vibrations whether emitted from inside out, or flow between you and
the other objects of the outside world, simultaneously. <br>
<br>
That is beauty in my opinion.
answers10: Beauty is as beauty DOES.

sleeping beauty.....?

answers1: I have asked this same question several times, and haven't
got a good answer
answers2: Don't be a moron and touch sharp objects? <br>
<br>
...I don't think the story 'Sleeping Beauty' has any apples in it
guys. That's 'Snow White'.
answers3: what are you? 9?
answers4: that if you're a beautiful princess you can have a lovely
little nap while a handsome chap, who has no problem kissing someone
who is unconsious, finds you. while the rest of us have to work our
butts off to pay the rent.
answers5: There's no moral
answers6: Sleeping Beauty has no moral, and it is NOT a tale for kids.
The original Sleeping Beauty - if one can talk of an original, since
it was a tale passed by mouth for generations - was written on a
compilation of tales by Jacques Perrault for the amusement of the
French royal court. It is not quite as the Disney version of the tale
made it , and it has details like Sleeping Beauty's skin was very
stiff, because she was way old, she was always dressing out of
fashion, she had a daughter and a son with the prince, but they
couldn't live with them because the mother of the prince, an ogre,
wanted to eat them all the time, and so on. You should read it.
answers7: Nice face is sleeping beauty.
answers8: Wow, Idk. <br>
Hahaa. :] <br>
Never really thought about that onee. <br>
Maybe you need to sleep? <br>
Hahaa.
answers9: to always invite evil witches to your parties..even if you
think theyre dead
answers10: I thought Snow White was the one with the apple! <br>
<br>
In Sleeping Beauty, I thought that the parents snubbed the Evil Lady
so lesson #1 is: Karma is a *****. <br>
<br>
The Three Fairies did their best to help her by stating that it could
be broken by her 16th birthday if she got a kiss from her true love so
the lesson #2 is: no matter how long you have to wait and be cautious,
there's always a solution out there for your problem, usually given by
the kindness of others <br>
<br>
Her parents kept as many spinning wheels away as they possibly could
but there was still one left. Lesson #3 is: you can't protect
yourself or your children from something that is supposed to happen to
them because they will always find a way to rebel or someone will
always find a way to take advantage of their naivity <br>
<br>
She passed out and so did everyone else and everything got overgrown
and grew up around the castle. Lesson #4: When one person screws up,
it effects everyone - especially those close to them, so take that
into account when you make decisions <br>
<br>
The price came by, fought his way into the castle, and then stilled by
her beauty, kissed her awake. Lesson #5: Despite having to ride
through an overgrown and neglected woods, despite having to chop away
thorns, despite having to walk through a neglected and rotting castle,
and despite having to kiss her horrible morning breath, he still found
absolute beauty in her <br>
<br>
Main Lesson: true, unconditional love brings everything right back to
where it should be

Is road (bitumen) a black body ?

answers1: Per Wikipedia "A black body is an idealized physical body
that absorbs all incident electromagnetic radiation, regardless of
frequency or angle of incidence" <br>
<br>
Also from Wikipedia: " By definition, a black body in thermal
equilibrium has an emissivity of ε = 1.0." <br>
<br>
Amazingly Asphalt pavement has an emissivity of around 0.93! (data
from Cole-Parmer TechLibraryArticle/254) So it's not a "black body". A
material such as this is referred to as a "gray body". <br>
<br>
The closest material to a perfect black body is made of vertically
aligned carbon nanotubes and absorbs 97 to 99% of incident radiation.
(ie. ε = .97 to .99) ("A black body absorber from vertically aligned
single-walled carbon nanotubes"
http://www.pnas.org/content/106/15/6044.long) <br>
<br>
"Is there any radiation that can penetrate it? " <br>
Well no. <br>
By definition a perfect black body absorbs all incident radiation. In
practice with real materials this is not the case. <br>

Does dark hair look better with fair skin or tan skin?

answers1: Probably fair for me. I think it looks better and more
dramatic. Also, it doesn't involve risks for skin cancer and lessens
you of leathery, wrinkly skin once you age. Also, blue-green eyes
stand out great against fair skin (I think better against fair than
tan skin). <br>

Just my opinion. <br>

GUYS do u prefer girls no makeup or makeup?

answers1: I prefer women that wear as little make up as possible.
answers2: Maybe a little makeup but DON'T go over bored its a major
turn off and makes you look like a slut <br>
Just be yourself with maybe a little natural color makeup
answers3: i like those girls without any artificial beauty.. i.e..
Without any make up.. Its the real beauty
answers4: make-up so you look as good as possible.. but the type of
make-up that isn't noticeable that you are actually wearing it :p
answers5: No makeup, especially lip gloss. When I kiss a girl with lip
gloss on I feel weird after.
answers6: VERY LITTLE!!! they hate makeup espically thick lip gloss or
lipstick that rubs off when they kiss you. in general its best to go
natural or at least look like you are ;)
answers7: I'm on my girlfriends account...okay soo...us guys like it
when a girl where's little makeup to enhance her feautures. No blue
eyeshadow, red lipstick. I love it when a girl has long eyelashes and
apples mascara lightly. A light lipgloss is pretty too but NOT TOO
MUCH PLEASE! Oh and we also HATE raccoon eyes. So keep the makeup to
the minimum! Natural beauty is key! And a little foundation that
matches ur skin tone is good too but it should be barely noticeable
and applied lightly and blended!
answers8: They like women that wear natural make up
answers9: Little to no make-up, it shows a womans true beauty!
answers10: every guy is different. <br>
Some guys like those girls with lots of make-up on. Some like the
natural ones. <br>
Depends who your pointing at here, like age groups? Teenage boys say
13-17, like girls with lots of make-up.. <br>
And like 40 year olds like all natural

Anybody use NYX makeup?

answers1: i have one of their 10 eyeshadow palettes and I love it.
answers2: it is very good quality. i use mostly high end makeup and
this is the quality of that makeup without the price.
answers3: I like NYCs mascaras.. but my friends don't.. I guess it all
kinda depends on what look you're going for. But the mascara lasts
pretty long, lip gloss is good too!
answers4: i have the nyx mega lip glosses some of there round
lipsticks and some of the jumbo eye pencils for eye shaodw bases those
are the only good things from that make up brand in my book.
answers5: indexed right here are some decrease priced makeups, yet I
dont understand no count if or no longer they're available in those
shops or no longer, cs I dont stay everywhere close to those shops :p
sorry. Maybelline - they have super blushes, (the dream bouncy blush -
i think of), the colour is extremely buildable, could be utilized
employing hands, texture is stable. NYX - their powder blush (won't
have the ability to be utilized employing hands), mega shine lipgloss,
lipstick, and bronzers are super. NYX is decrease priced yet provides
super high quality of makeup. they have super brushes too. makeup
experts on youtube which contain Elle & Blair Folwer use NYX. L'Oreal
- their eyeliner and mascara is incredibly super. Their 'authentic
experience Powder' is staggering. Revlon - eyeliner, lip butter,
commencing place, concealers are incredibly super :)

why does makeup appeal to women?

answers1: Because most females are, in a way, vain and conscious about
their looks. Makeup helps women feel better about themselves and their
outward appearance. <br>
In response to your question regarding how to persuade women to
purchase makeup: <br>
Usually, new, interesting concepts of makeup goes a long way with
women and their beauty products. Cleansing hair conditioners, clear
foundation, makeup with multiple uses (such as NARS The Multiple), and
foundation in an airbrush bottle are only a few examples of modern-day
innovative makeup. Prices matter too, but newer concepts matter much
more.
answers2: Most people want makeup because they think they will look
better, and personally (i wear makeup) i think it does help your
appearance. Women and men buy makeup because commercials use all the
prettiest models, and even touch them up on their computers, so people
think that they will look like that, even though in reality, nobody
ever will. Hope i helped :D

makeup makeup makeup !!!?

answers1: Go to a Sephora in like your mall. <br>
Almost every mall has one. <br>
And ask a consultant. <br>
They can help you find your perfect makeup. <br>
Because maybe perfect makeup for someone else, will be horrible for you.
answers2: I order all my makeup, skin care ( face products, lotions,
body scrubs, body washes, make up removers) and perfumes from
yvesrocherusa.com. They are all natural, not tested on animals, and
take really take simple botanical ingredients and turn it into
wonderful products! They are always having some sort of sale and
always send free gifts or samples with each purchase too! I have been
using this brand for two years now and love it.
answers3: Um...You should definitely go to Claire's, Hot Topic, or
Rite Aid. Hot Topic has eye shadow, eye liner, and a lot more!
Claire's has, like, eye shadow, lip gloss, and more! Rite Aid has lip
balm, eye shadow, hair bands, lip stick, eye liner, blush, cover-up,
lip liner, and even more! I bought everyone of them, I swear, one of
every kind, and everybody said that I looked so fine!
answers4: Hmm it depends on your skin type and what kind of coverage
you're looking for... if you want sheer coverage opt for a nice tinted
moisturizer or a very light foundation such as Cargo's oil free
foundation (the one in a pouch). I just bought it and I really like
how it's nice and light, but maybe just a little too sheer for the
areas on my face where I have imperfections, so I use concealer
underneath (Shiseido liquid concealer). Clinique Perfectly Real makeup
is also a good option because it has medium coverage that lets your
real skin shine through and it does not make you look overly made up.
<br>
<br>
Mineral makeup is also a great option if you you want something quick
that has great coverage and doesn't feel very heavy. While many people
love Bare Escentuals Bareminerals makeup (from Sephora), I didn't like
it because it was too obvious on my skin and it had some preservatives
in it which might not be good for sensitive skin. But you might find
that you like it... other mineral makeup foundations are Bella Pierre
mineral makeup (not sure if it's sold in the US, but in Canada and the
UK it can be found at mall kiosks). <br>
<br>
Also, if you're really unsure of what you are looking for it would be
a good idea to go to Sephora or a department or drug store to ask
someone to help you find a good foundation. Make sure that you are
comfortable with how it looks on you, and don't let a salesperson
pressure you into buying something if you're not very sure about it.

Long hair just makes you look more 'obese'.

My hair is frizzy?

answers1: Humectress Conditioner <br>
A Reconstructor like Joico or Ion <br>
Non frizz balm by Ion or John Frieda. I heard "Zero Free" <br>
products are awesome <br>
Oil Sheen Hair Spray - put small amount in palm of hands and then
place throughout <br>
No-Frizz hairspray - John Frieda - and I hear SunSilk is good <br>
<br>
A professional relaxer (done at a salon) did wonders for someone I know
answers2: straight iron . oh , and use Garnier hair prouducts , they
dont let your hair frizz !
answers3: get a product that will make it less frizzy. I have the
same problem and what I use is a product called super skinny you can
get it at any of your local hair salons or at a grocery store. I'ts
kind of expensive but it's worth it :D
answers4: Buy any John Freda Frizz Eaze product. Try the serum first,
I found it was really good. The heat these days doesn't help though
eh? So hot out lol!
answers5: Apply aloe vera juice on wet hair then rinse off about 10
mins later.If you mind the smell, olive oil is good too.
answers6: Get a frizz ease product, or get a thing called "silk
drops," or your last result, hot oil.
answers7: Paul Mitchell serum. use it on curly or straight hair and
before u apply heat to the hair. easy on the flat irons also
answers8: Wash your hair with cold water, avoid using the hot heat on
your blow dryer (try cool instead), and use the anti-frizz serums.
answers9: I use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum. I do
a review on it. If you're interested, go check it out on my website.
answers10: M-L-E is right ! Try Paul Mitchells super skinny serum! It
works so good and smells like apples! YUm!! Also try deep conditioning
once a week for 15mins! good luck :)
answers11: the john frieda frizz-ease line. this is an amazing line of
products! i use "downplay," which reduces excess volume and gets rid
of frizz, and "dream curls," since i have curly hair. it is
amazing!!!! <br>
<br>
also, cut back on shampoo use. it drains moisture from your hair. i
know it sounds weird but try only using shampoo a couple of times a
week. if you have an oily scalp. you can use it a little more often,
but don't go overboard!

Do hair vitamins make hair grow?

answers1: yes, some vitamins help to grow hair.
answers2: Yes It helps in hair growth quickly.
answers3: yes they do help you grow your hair. It is actually Hair
Skin and Nails Vitamins by ItWorks that allows my hair to be the
fullest and the longest as it as ever been. The best thing about it is
that I have been using them for only a month and a half. I've always
been stuck to a certain hair length. Not anymore :) If you're
interested contact me - judy.offrey@yahoo.ca
answers4: Yes they keep hair strong smd promotes growth and helps hair
from falling out.
answers5: Yes Hairfintiy does
answers6: Depending
answers7: Yes. Supplements like silica have been shown in double-blind
clinical trails (real science, not pseudoscience) to increase hair
growth rates, and increase the hair per cubic inch on the scalp. You
can get supplements with silica, however, the studies had the people
take silica tablets three times a day with meals. Normal supplements
will only "increase" the growth rate of your hair if it was hindered
in the first place by malnutrition. Taking supplements like
multivitamins only really helps your body achieve it's prime growth
rate that it is capable of when it's healthiest, slow hair growth
rates are seen when your body's prime rate is slowed. (Search for
silica study on PubMed) <br>
<br>
Silica, and the hot oil hair inversion technique are the only things
I've seen statistically work in making your hair grow faster than it's
optimum growth rate. The latter sounds a bit hippy'ish, and I had
brushed it off as hokum before. However, the results are the results,
and it seems to work. I guess that the stimulation from the massage +
inversion, and the added conditioning from the oils helps your hair
grow faster. <br>
<br>
The other thing I can advise, is to stop using normal shampoo on your
hair. Normal shampoo destroys your hair. You can buy cream rinses like
Wen, but Herbal Essences sells a cream conditioner in their new naked
line. There are also a bunch of different versions you can buy from
Sally's hair care. Getting rid of the shampoo will help reduce your
hair breakage, and drying which will allow you to grow + keep your
longer hair strands.
answers8: Yes It helps in hair growth
answers9: Accept yourself as you are. Why take anything created by
humans to destroy or add to what you already have? <br>
<br>
People always find a "con" for the things they do and regret it later.
Take for example plastic surgeries. Thats self explanatory. <br>
<br>
Let your hair grow naturally and try to maintain the texture to avoid breakage.
answers10: Not all vitamins make your hair grow. You want to look for
vitamins/pills that will help increase your keratin production because
that is the basic unit of the hair. Be careful not to take too much
because keratin is also released through skin and nails so when
increasing keratin production make sure you keep your pores clean and
unclogged.

How can I prevent staticky hair?

answers1: Yes when you have staticky hair go get your brush wet it a
little and brush your hair if it is still staticky put more water on
there.
answers2: i have long hair that gets REALLY staticky especially in the
winter and i found that the best thing to to is either use liquid
fabric softener as conditioner, or run a fabric softner sheet through
your hair when its dry (both work, but depending on the liquid it
might leave your hair looking and feeling greasy so test it out when
you dont have to go any where sometime)
answers3: I don't know if you're old enough to remember this, but
years ago gasoline and oil trucks used to drag a short chain behind
them to discharge any static electricity before it could build up to a
level that might cause a spark and a fire. <br>
<br>
You should do likewise. Go to the hardware store and ask for a length
of medium chain. Get it long enough so that it just drags along the
floor as you walk. That should keep you electrically neutral and your
"staticky hair" problems will be "all behind you".
answers4: ok so for an answer that doesn't consist of the dryer sheet
theory, you can try 2 lil things i've learned to use always
considering i have the same problem. my hair is very long and has a
lot of natural oils therefore there are lots of treatments that will
weigh my hair down. so in the morning when i'm washing my hair close
to the end of my shower i apply a nickel size amount of Dove
weightless moisturizer conditioner only to the end of my hair then i
rinse most of it out after letting it sit for a minute (but not all of
it, you'll still want it to be a tid bit slick). after doing my normal
style regime i use TRESemme anti-frizz secret smoothing creme in the
ultra light formula. i use about a dime size amount in my palms then
rub em together flip my hair over and run it along the backside of my
hairs. after you finishede styling try to keep from brushing a lot,
this my cause my static and flyaways. goodluck!
answers5: Static hair can be a big problem during the winter when the
cold, dry air dehydrates hair. Here are some ways to calm those
electric locks. <br>
Instructions <br>
STEP 1: Deep-condition your hair regularly. (See Related eHow "How to
Deep-Condition Hair".) Properly moisturized hair is less likely to be
affected by static. STEP 2: Use a "leave-in" conditioner on your hair
after you wash it, or apply conditioning hair gel. These products help
to weigh the hair down. STEP 3: Spray your hairbrush or comb with an
anti-static spray before you run it through your hair. STEP 4: Keep a
fabric softener sheet handy and run it over your hair when it starts
to get out of control. Carry it in your purse so you can use it
several times during the day if necessary. STEP 5: Avoid hair products
that include ingredients that will dry out your hair, such as alcohol
or harsh chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulfates. Overall Tips &
Warnings <br>
Spraying an anti-static product into hats and hoods will reduce with
flyaway hair. <br>
Using a wooden comb or brush helps reduce static electricity.
answers6: Static guard on your hair brush, spray water in your hair,
or rub it with a dryer sheet, use hair serum, and avoid metal bristled
brushes. <br>
<br>
Prevention: <br>
Look into the clothes you wear, it is most likely the culprit. For
instance, I had a nice wool scarf that was making my hair staticky, I
rubbed it with a dryer sheet and haven't had a problem since.
answers7: This actually works, crazy as it sounds. Take a dryer sheet
and rub your hair with it. Not only does it work for clothes static,
but hair static too.
answers8: use hair serum! its the best stuff I've ever used! <br>
<br>
put a couple of daps in your palm and worked it into your damp
hair....also try it in dry hair...it makes it glossy..... <br>
<br>
<br>
http://www.samysalon.com/samy_smooth.html
answers9: after i am all done with the flat iron, i take a very tiny
drop of my favorite scent of fabric softener and rub it into damp
palms, and smooth through my hair---no more static and my hair smells
great! you can also use a dryer sheet, or even rub the softener or
the sheet into your hairbrush. if you are using a hair dryer, apply
the softener to your towel dried hair--but not too much! just a dab!
also,they make special hair brushes and combs that eliminate static,
but i don't know who makes them. they are made of wood, the ones i am
thinking of.
answers10: For your hair, here a fly away and staticy mixture: 1/2 cup
of water 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon of lime juice Put in
spray bottle. Shake to mix. Spray onto hair to tame static. Store the
rest in your refrigerator. <br>
<br>
Spray a hairbrush with hair spray and brush your hair with it. Do this
after your hair is dry. You'll have no more static. <br>
<br>
Hair full of static electricity, try using conditioner in your hair
when you wash it. After washing with shampoo, then put conditioner in
and leave in about a minute then rinse out and style as usual! <br>
<br>
Dryer sheets work amazingly well on static-y hair. You just rub it
over your hair, and it is instantly tamed. And the best part is that
you can reuse the sheets!!!
answers11: taking good care of my hair is very important to me , so I
do have some good advise . but it is not for everyone . first of all
do not use crap in your hair , like hair spray or gel,or even moose. I
was a hairspray user all growing up and thought my hair wouldn't hold
with out it and one day I got sick of the smell and feel and my hair
stays curled just fine . don't use cheep products. smooth it out with
silk therapy from fantastic Sam's .use sun silk it is inexpensive ,not
cheep.both these products are GREAT and use a conair straightener any
other good straightener .use a tresemme conditioner with vitamin e ,
you can use alittle bit on your hair before you straighten it for
frizz control , and straighten your hair alittle damp , that way it
will steam it dry for a better look and its better for your hair
,happy styling

answers1: If your comfortable with your hair up then wear it that
way.......if your not comfortable then down.......remember you will be

Prom dress and accessories?

answers1: they did not wear high heel shoes like that. I think a low
heel white or off white pump. this is <br>
way before my time or low heel mary janes
answers2: Okay that dress is stunning. Gatsby or not. And I do think
it goes well with the theme, because like you said your not going to
go in like an actual 20's outfit. The bodice reminds me of Gatsby
flash and party. The shoes go well with the dress, but I could also
see a non sequined, more brassy gold color shoe, to go with the other
part of the top. But those are very pretty. I don't think you should
wear a neck accessory considering the glam of the top dress. Gold
earrings or bracelet maybe, nothing too bold so the dress can be the
main feature. Youre going to look amazing, have fun!
answers3: Hey Channa, <br>
<br>
I think that is a really cute dress. <br>
I thought about these accessories that are really affordable and
stunning can work perfectly with your outfit. <br>
http://www.pixiemarket.com/diamond-brooch-statement-necklace.html <br>
http://www.pixiemarket.com/gold-triangle-ring-set.html <br>
<br>
Good Luck!
answers4: Hey so I just ordered a dress from lovingdresses.com and it
actually just shipped but I've been reviewing a lot of sites online
and found out that a lot of people think lovingdresses.com isn't
reliable. <br>
<br>
I know this doesn't really relate to your question but I was wondering
if you had received your dress yet or have any input on this. <br>
<br>
Thanks!
answers5: wow first of all that dress is GORGEOUS!! screw the gatsby
theme that dress can be pulled off for anything and you'll be the
center of attention at prom!! :) <br>
<br>
as for the shoes, I think they're perfect for the dress because theyre
the right color and not too flashy and it compliments the dress
perfectly <br>
<br>
for accessories I think the model does it perfectly, make a couple of
thin gold bracelets and some dangle earrings but not too big, and
definitely not a necklace because it would take away from the bodice
of the dress <br>
<br>
the only thing I would suggest not doing is the red lips, although it
does go with the theme, it just doesn't really match the dress <br>
<br>
but all in all your choices are perfect!!! <br>
<br>
and you should also put your hair in soft waves to add to the theme!
hope this helped :-)

How do you make fashion designs?

answers1: The Art Academy in San Francisco is a good place to start.
answers2: Supplies: <br>
<br>
►Pencils <br>
►Color pencils <br>
►Sharpener <br>
►Paper <br>
►Good Eraser <br>
<br>
You can learn more about fashion design in art schools near you.
answers3: You start by drawing a dress. So learn to draw. Charcoal
and Copic Markers are two different but equally traditional media for
it. Then you make it. Get fabric and thread and sew. Or glue. <br>

Good fashion blog names?

answers1: Fashion Blog Names Ideas
answers2: Usually the best names are completely abstract, just combine
your two favourite words or choose something that reflects you,
usually epople use flower names, or bird names, things that reflect
fashion.
answers3: lets say your name is emma. Then you would say emmas
fashions, or emmas closet. if your name was sarah then you woudl say
sarahs fashion closet or something like that. If i had a fahsion blog
i woudl make say kay kays fashion. my name is kaila so yeah .
answers4: Hey I want to start a fashion blog too but I'm stuck on
names for my self. From your username I would suggest Pink and then
whatever next. Like you could do your favorite print (like zebra),
style or accessory.
answers5: The best fashion blog names don't come from Yahoo Answers,
people typically create them themselves through inspirational items.

which is the top fashion design school in USA?

answers1: Oklahoma City University It's known for it's vocal and
musical theatre programs. Kristin Chenoweth went there, (Charlie
Brown, Wicked) and many other Broadway stars. Oddly enough, one of the
well-known vocal coaches there has a name that is similar to a bird,
like Florence something. You should google the school and check out
their web site. I've heard Syracuse has a good musical theatre program
(Vanessa Williams was an undergrad I think) but I certainly can't
recommend the weather. Keep in mind it's also about finding a school
that you personally like, and in a place you like. You can find tons
of top-notch vocal coaches in NY and LA without going for a full
degree---do what's best for you and I would recommend an agent so that
you're not stuck in the educational part of your vocal career for
forever as it's a business based largely on youth.
answers2: Pretty much any art school will do the trick. Good art
schools include: RISD, Massachusetts College of Arts, and California
College of the Arts. Parsons, in New York City, is very well-known
for its fashion design program. Also, the Fashion Institute of Design
and Merchandising is for that purpose. <br>
<br>
Good luck!
answers3: If you're English,please stay in England.

answers2: Well, it's always a little different I guess. How else would
the industry make money? :D Looking at the reports on Fashion Week for
Spring 2011, it seemed that a lot of designers were presenting
collections with somewhat longer skirts and a very feminine look. This
fall looks a little more preppy to me than last fall although some of
the neat colors (like purple, pumpkin, camel, etc.) were also big last
year.

Is foreign language required for a college degree/Is foreign language the best humanities class to take?

answers1: Foreign language isn't required for a college degree but it
is required to get in to a good college.
answers2: It's not required for a degree (unless you are majoring in
something like international business or the language itself), but it
can often fill a prerequisite. I have to take 2 semesters of Spanish
for general education requirements. So, I don't need it for my degree,
but I need it to graduate. I go to a liberal arts school, however...
<br>
<br>
I say go ahead and take Spanish unless you find a different humanities
course that sounds more interesting (look through your college's
course catalogue). I like learning Spanish personally. The reason why
I like it so much is because I *know* it will come in handy someday,
even just little phrases! Heck, in high school when I was a cashier, I
had to use Spanish twice.

I need help with my humanities homework. ?

answers1: You need to go to your local public library or school
library to do an article search. The librarian will be able to help
you. I have never seen anything to help do that sort of search on the
internet. In a traditional library you will be able to find what you
need very quickly!
answers2: Go to the library. That is the best place to find periodicals. <br>
<br>
EDIT: Okay, well, I doubt that as I am a library aide, but if the
librarian told you to search online, alright. Go to Google Scholar
and search there. I still believe that the best place to find a
periodical and cite it would be to look in the library. I would say to
try the public library.

About the nature of Humanities?

answers1: My humanities teacher was one of the people who created the
SAT's and CLEP tests. So I got high scores on my SAT's and ART and
HISTORY CLEPS because our syllabus came right out of those tests.
answers2: That actually depends on you opinion on what is good
quality of life. To some its sitting in a hot tub asking your butler
for another martini. and for others its living in a forest growing
your own food. i think you should specify your question a little more.
answers3: my opinion is with stereotypes... humanities also influence
the quality of life by feeling superior to the minority if they
associate with the majority because truly there can never be much of a
balance in anything that can defer the laws of physics?
answers4: The bigger the scope, the broader the view.

How you Define Humanties & Explain Humanities?

answers1: Well, it depends..
answers2: Humanities refers to study of human creativity.
answers3: I also want to ask the same question
answers4: I don't know, it sounds like you are a little awkward with
the English language. Which is a real good place to start. Language,
the written word, poetry, anything you can describe, dramatize,
persuade, instill, inspire...all that is humanities. The full
definition of human beings must take into account ALL that he has
created on his (our) own--which is to say, culture. Humanities
integrates the full spectrum of the images of mankind, all
representative notions and objects and thereby give full reign to
human nature and human striving.

Does anyone have a humanities degree and is it possible to get a good job with this degree and what kind?

answers1: A Humanities degree is less useful than a 'specialized'
degree when seeking employment. I suggest you research the kind of
job you want -- more specifically than 'creative" and then find out
what kind of education or degree that job requires. If you want to be
a graphic artist, you would take a different major than if you wanted
to be an editor. Better to research this now than find out inf 4
years that you can't get the job you want with the degree you have.
You can look at the Department of Labor's Occupational outlook
handbook at <a href="http://www.bls.gov/oco"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.bls.gov/oco</a> or talk to the
admissions officer at the school you want to attend if you want some
further guidance.

Are Art Institutes good schools to attend?Please Answer?

answers1: Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale
answers2: Those are kind of all the same thing? Art institute/art
school/art college are basically just terms to describe schools that
are dedicated specifically to teaching art. If you go to art school
then the classes you take will mainly only be art, there are some
academic classes but honestly except for art history related stuff and
some philosophy type classes they tend to be pretty bad. Everyone at
the school will be an artist which is both good and bad I guess:) You
can also go to a regular college/university like University of Kansas
or Notre Dame or UCLA or wherever and be an art major. They will have
an art department, you'd take more academic classes and see/hang out
with wider variety of students/majors, etc. Like other answers said
there is a chain of schools called 'Art Institute' schools that SUCK.
They are all owned by the same for profit company. There are other
(private, good) art schools though that also use Art Institute in
their names like Art Institute of Chicago, San Francisco Art
Institute, etc so it can be a little confusing.

What are the best Art colleges in the country? (or the world)?

answers1: This u . s . a . has been grow to be too plenty pop

longer care in regards to the humanities. i admire the humanities. I
too hear to classical track, yet I additionally Iove finding at super
works artwork. i'm partial to Piet Mondrian, Jackson Pollock, Salvador
Dali and Michelangelo. i admire listening to Grieg and Tchaikovsky. I
do hear to different forms of track and watch some television and
movies and easily love baseball and soccer, yet i believe i'm greater
properly rounded by protecting the humanities in my existence.

Why is art added into food?

answers1: perhaps to introduce people to the word " art ". they get
curious and that leads ttem to visit an Art Gallery, wishful thinking
on my part.
answers2: Im a cook. <br>
People eat with their eyes first. then smell. then taste. <br>
A good presentation will cause the person to desire that food and make
them hungrier. A good presentation also states your skill level and ho
much the food is "worth" <br>
Have you ever saw an ad. with food that made you crave it? what made
you hungry? its all about the presentation of the food. <br>
hope this explains. <br>
Allen
answers3: to make the food look good to eat. <br>
if you made the vanilla and chocolate syrup mixed up or half on one
side and half on the other , it wont look as appealing as it on top
with a cherry on top!
answers4: Great cuisine pleases all the senses: Sight, smell and taste... <br>
<br>
Besides, it's part of being Human to turn everything we can into art.
That's not a bad thing either... ;)
answers5: When you go out and eat and I'm not talking Long John's or
McDonalds, You are given a "dining experience". <br>
<br>
The chef and his/her team are respossibly for that. Basically they're
playing to your senses. It has to smell good it has to taste good and
the texture of the food has to be correct. And it has to be visually
appealing, hence, food into art. Let's face it do you really want to
eat something that looks like it was puked onto your plate? No, that's
why all of these things have to be met. If one thing faulters you will
not enjoy you're meal as much as you can and chefs usually take great
pride in both their kitchen and the meal sent out. <br>
<br>
I've actually eaten in places that I sat there and stared at my plate
it was presented so beautifully. When the server asked me if anything
was wrong I laughed and said "Yeah, It looks to good to eat!"

Help, I need more Art Colleges !?

answers1: The Massachusetts College of Art is a state artwork
institution. They have such a lot if no longer a lot of these
techniques, as good as a rigorous basis 12 months application for
inexperienced persons. If you get your BFA there you'll be able to
undoubtedly pop out with competence in plenty of facets of the
humanities. It's aggressive. You'll desire a well portfolio and an
effective B ordinary in prime institution to get in. I have a baby
finding out there; she's doing first-rate.
answers2: You will probably find better opportunities at universities
such as the University of Miami. You will not find a school or
university with good in depth programs in both of these fields in the
Atlanta area. The Emory University joint major in art history and
visual arts is not the same thing as a photography major. <br>
<br>
However, both of these subjects, separately or combined, lead to
unemployment as these fields are too overcrowded. It would be tragic
to waste an education at Emory studying these subjects. <br>
<br>
A person does not need to go to university or art school to learn
photography. It is better to apprentice to a photographer. <br>
<br>
May I respectfully suggest that you look at educational options which
will prepare you for a career in which you can find a job.

answers1: Create a Collage of her on sturdy mat-board: copy pics of
her, utilize jewelry/stick-on jewels, ribbons (maybe from her hair),
wrappers from her favorite gum/candy, use her favorite color, if she
likes music, cut out/copy a picture of her favorite group, draw some
musical notes, find pics in magazines of other things that she likes
or places she likes to go, draw a border around the whole edge, use
bright colors, triangles, circles, squiggly lines, etc. 'Hope this
sparks some good ideas for you.
answers2: it is a attractive theory. did you realize something about
quilting? I ask this because you're prepared to enlist the help of
faculty toddlers to make a conceal for his or her college or public
sale it off for money going back to the college. The purpose might
want to be to make a conceal (possibly queen length). decide on a
classification (possibly one which has 30 or scholars), you may favor
to %. 2 classification counting on the dimensions of the
classification. each and each and every scholar is to beautify a block
(a chunk of fabric, white cotton muslin as an social gathering). The
block is about 6" x 6" or slightly higher. the scholar can paint on
it, draw on it, or maybe with. it truly is extra acceptable in case
you employ markers that are everlasting and could no longer wash off.
fabrics pens artwork ideal. opt for a topic like "i love college" or
"i love interpreting" or something like that. Have the youngsters draw
pictures on the blocks to characterize the topic. yet another theory
is to have prints made of their fingers and signal their names lower
than the prints! once the blocks are done, you may stitch them
mutually or have a chum/mom or someone who knows quilting help you.
you would have a impressive conceal appropriate once you're done. the
subsequent step will be to have it quilted (all the layers sewn
mutually). The layers are the appropriate, the batting and the
backing. someone who knows quilting can help or take it to a quilting
professional to positioned it mutually. this would value slightly
money. it really is why having someone who knows quilting is ideal.
the completed product would nicely be positioned on show for a lengthy
time period. Then, at a fund raiser- promote raffle tickets. The money
can pass back to the college or despatched to charity. it is a
impressive community undertaking. It contains dad and mom, instructors
and the community. it truly is a interesting undertaking and many
income from it.
answers3: This may not be 'different' or creative enough but recently
I have been drawing large portraits in ballpoint pen/ Biro. Its really

What is visual art? and can we say that any visual art is good or bad?

answers1: I work in graphic design and took many many art classes in
college. Art is subject to the beholder. That's what makes it so
great. Each and every person is different. I may look at a Pollock
painting and think its beautful and another person may think that they
could do the same by throwing paint against a wall, but I would look
at it and say YUCK! <br>
<br>
Again art is subjective. If you deal in art or are an artist you can't
expect any one reaction to your work. You must be open to praise and
criticism.

Visual art portfolio help please?

answers1: Again, you need to ask the Unionville visual arts progam
Director to get a real answer for this, but here are some suggestions:
Write the piece's title, size, and mediums used. Then begin describing
the piece. Some help: "What is the theme of the piece aka: what is it
meant to portray or what is the point? (Is it abstract? fine art?) How
was the use of negative space used? What are the color tones and hues
used? How does this add to the overall feel of the piece? Do these
colors make it feel a certain way? Happy? Sad? Melancholy? Active?
What is the focal point? Do you feel that you were successful in
getting your point across? How? Have the mediums you used added to the
overall content of the piece? Why did you pick that medium? etc. <br>
Best of luck to you! You can do it!! Don't forget to ask that
director! That is what will help you the most!

3 Acting Questions Please Help?

answers1: An acting school teaches you to act. They teach you
techniques, both for stage, film, and commerial jobs, and also teach
you the business end of how to survive as an actor. They typically
cast you in their own productions so that you gain experiance, and a
good school will have teachers that will let you use their connections
to try and get entry-level gigs. <br>
<br>
An acting agency takes people who are already actors and helps them
find auditions to try and get jobs. An agent doesn't get you jobs,
they only get you auditions for jobs, and once you land a job, they
take a percentage of your pay. Because they don't make money if you
don't make money, most agents won't bother with someone who hasn't
already learned the business and has head-shots and some experiance on
a resume to show. <br>
<br>
You sound like you should start with the school.
answers2: an acting school is a wondrous, magical place where talented
people go to learn and perfect their already great talents, whereas an
acting agency is a place to go when you need an audition. I would
personally choose acting school first, because it's so much help, and
can open you up to greater things (if that makes sense)
answers3: An acting school sells classes in acting. An Acting agency
(more properly a Talent Agency) represents actors in negotiation for
acting jobs and tries to match actors with available auditions. Acting
school cost money. Reputable talent agencies do not charge you
anything, but take a percentage of what you earn from jobs they get
you.The acting industry frowns on talent agencies that also run acting
schools. Many people get around this (sort of) by calling themselves
Talent Management Agencies. You should not go to either until you are
sure it is worth while to do so. Eventually, if you are trying to
become a professional actor, you will need to go to some classes and
have an agent. First you should be in a lot of amateur plays to find
out if you have any ability worth spending money on for classes and
for the photos and other things you will need to become a professional
actor.
answers4: -a acting school is where a people teach you different
acting techniques on acting <br>
-a acting agencies helps you book jobs and go to auditions <br>
<br>
i think you should go to both because you nee to be good at acting to
book any jobs, so you need the school to get the proper training and
the agent to book the jobs. <br>
<br>
hope i helped(: <br>
good luck.

Are There Off-Broadway Theaters That Are on Broadway?

answers1: It's entirely based on the number of seats in the theater,

Black box theater in knoxville?

answers1: The Black Box is a small and intimate theater where the
Actors Co-Op perform. I have been to a few plays at Black Box and most
were very good. Here is the web site
http://www.actorscoop.net/blackbox.html
answers2: A black container is a room for theatre the place there is
not any fastened indoors different than for lighting fixtures and
sound structures. Seats and diploma platform, if there is one, are all
transportable, making the black container theatre a maximum versatile
diploma sort, because of the fact the objective audience would nicely
be placed everywhere interior the room. it fairly is consumer-friendly
prepare to color each floor interior the room black to make for
neutrality and to shrink reflections, and that's the commencing place
of the call. The black container theatre became into invented interior
the final 0.5 of the 20 th century, the 1st everlasting black
containers being built throughout the Sixties. maximum black container
theatres are small interior the experience that they might hardly cope
with an objective audience of greater beneficial than 2 hundred, a
actuality that still has a undeniable impression on what form of
performs you will see at a black container theatre. The diploma sort
is usual among smaller, expert theatres, yet considerable productions
that place self assurance in vast objective audience turnout might
normally decide for a customary proscenium, that's the main
consumer-friendly sort of theatre diploma. For some reason, lots of
black container theatre vendors look exceedingly unimaginative while
it is composed of names, meaning there's an excellent sort of black
container theatres worldwide only called "The Black container
Theatre". i'm hoping this facilitates. perhaps they're thinking the
college room is often utilized because of the fact the theatre area? i
might examine approximately that. devoid of the right lighting
fixtures and sound kit equipped in you have an extremely susceptible
theatre. Theatre would nicely be placed up quite lots everywhere. In
NYC there are save fronts the place performs are fixed and as you
recognize there is likewise theatre interior the park. yet while your
college is arising an area in particular for theatre applications
you're ultimate suited to make valuable it fairly is being performed
ultimate suited. good success!

What is the purpose of Greek Theatre?

answers1: Originally, it was performances of dithyrambs at the harvest
festivals, then evolved into a singing contest, which evolved into
theatre. So its roots are religious, but its limbs are secular.
(Come take my theatre history class: you'll learn all about it!)
answers2: the classic Greeks worshipped a god everyday as Dionysos.
The theater exchange into his purview. He exchange into god of divine
intoxication, of ecstasy and insanity, and eternal existence. The
theater exchange into the placement the classic Greeks went to with a
view to adventure the cathartic outcomes of Dionysos without resorting
to different styles of formality -- an actor could be all people,
could stay or die or do insane issues in a theater that have been the
two not allowed or not available in "actual existence": kill their
mom, seek advice from the gods, etc. visitors took section in all
this, interior the tragedy and comedy, and took away training from it
for his or her familiar lives. the classic Greek theater exchange into
additionally the placement the place new military cadets proved their
endurance; each spring, new cadets have been required to bounce and
carry out interior the community theater for days with little or no
relax or food.

Please explain the difference between community theater, regional theater, semi professional and professional?

answers1: The first answer is only partially correct with some pretty
major errors. The biggest is that Regional theatre MAY be done in
rural areas, but the biggest and most respected Regional theatres in
the country are in places like Washington DC, Milwaukee, and Chicago.
Not quite rural areas. <br>
<br>
A Regional theatre is a professional theatre located outside of New
York City (not Broadway, Off-Broadway, or Off-Off-Broadway). They are
usually (but not always) members of Actors' Equity, the professional
actors' and stage managers' union. They may also be members of the
League of Resident Theatres (LORT). <br>
<br>
Professional theatre involves companies that are entirely paid.
Actors, directors, designers, and stagehands. This is a very broad
net, however, and not very telling about ANY theatre specifically.
Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre companies are professional, but so
are Regional theatres and Summer Stock companies. <br>
<br>
Community theatre productions use volunteer actors and stagehands, but
it is not unusual for a community theatre to have full-time employees
and pay directors and designers on a per show basis. The term
"community theatre" is never used to refer to professionals working
within a "community". That is usually referred to as "outreach" to
avoid such confusion. <br>
<br>
Broadway, Off-, and Off-Off-Broadway refer to specific geographical
boundaries into which NYC theatres fall. Broadway is pretty much
always For-profit, and Off- and Off-Off-Broadway are almost always
Not-for-profit. Speaking of which. . . <br>
<br>
That is the biggest general difference between American theatres.
For-profit and Not-for-profit companies. For-profits include Broadway
shows, most dinner theatres, touring productions, some opera
companies, and a select few other types of theatre (like the big
Noah's Ark show in Virginia and Vegas shows like "O"). Not-for-profit
covers virtually everyone else. Community, Regional, Off-Broadway, and
Off-Off-Broadway theatres are almost always Not-for-profit.
answers2: Semi professional is the same as semi amateur so I suppose
this means good community groups and bad community groups?
answers3: Community theatres are groups of local actors who work in
normal jobs in the daytime but meet up in their evenings and weekends
to rehearse and perform in plays and shows. They are unpaid, and in
fact often have to pay a subscription to the theatre company to be a
member. Many of them do include professional actors who just love to
act even though they won't get paid, in between getting paid roles.
<br>
<br>
Regional theatre applies to either large community theatres where they
accept amateur actors from all around the region, or more commonly it
means touring professional theatre companies which travel from town to
town, performing one or more shows in each, before moving on. <br>
<br>
Semi-professional usually means that the actors in a theatre company
are a mix of amateurs and professionals, or it can mean that they get
paid a small amount through a profit-share. <br>
<br>
Professional means that the actors get paid a wage/salary/lump sum for
all the rehearsals and performances, but it can be a fairly small
amount, little more than expenses, or larger sums, right the way up to
large amounts for top actors.
answers4: Wrong section, but... <br>
<br>
Community theater - entirely volunteers. No one is paid. Generally
the people come just from "The Community" - such as the town or
whatnot. <br>
<br>
Regional theater pulls volunteers from a larger area, and so on and so on. <br>
<br>
All of the theater groups do the same thing - put on plays and
musicals. The only real differences are the physical size of the
theaters, their budgets, and the skill/experience of the actors.

not a guarantee for me. Cover doesn't mean much.
answers4: $20 for 80 pages looks asking slightly a lot. I offered my
Lulu-certain (no longer revealed) books for $20 each and every to pals
and relations, and it change into very just about six hundred pages.
nevertheless, i change into hesitant to lead them to pay a lot. $20 is
a honest little bit of money, in spite of everything. mess round round
with Lulu's ideas. attempt diverse web page sizes, for instance. I
used US commerce, yet there are different ideas that ought to honestly
land up slightly more low-cost for you. sturdy success :)

<br>

answers3: What's the purpose of this critique? Professional, Personal,
Homework? The answer would be different each time. If you need to
classify "types" of poetry by structure, this might help.
answers4: Critiques are basically essays, so it's good to structure it
so you are making a few points. Then you are building your argument
by citing examples to that effort. John Q. Poet uses fire as a
metaphor for punishment and redemption. In the poem, "I'm a Big Ol'
Forest" he makes the forest have a voice and explains how campers have
punished the forest for harboring bears. After the fire, the new seeds
sprout and he is reborn. In his poem, "I'm a Big Ol' Ohio Tire
Fire".... <br>

So your basic essay. <br>

Good luck!

Do you consider free verse poetry?

answers1: As the book of rules will say <br>
Poetry should be 'this way' <br>
To believe it is to keep a lyrical spirit denied <br>
And cause a Poetic heart to hide. <br>
<br>
Throw away the book of rules, express your sense <br>
The therapy of it your best defense
answers2: there is not any definition for poetry; it is residing in
nature, in spirit and is undying. It has no form because poetry may be
the sound of the wind or the feel of it on our cheek. you'll be able
to like or love or hate yet another's theory of elegance, even
nonetheless it does no longer make the ask your self greater or below
it somewhat is to the beholder. I enjoyed this poem and decide to
thank you for sharing it.
answers3: Poetry is shorter then a book, and beautiful, or funny,
anything you can think of really, <br>
It doesn't have any bounds,
answers4: challenging issue. look into on google or bing. that will will help!
answers5: Vikram Seth's whole novel "The Golden Gate" was written in a
lyrical iambic pentametre but still it is a novel with characters and
even if non-linear, a narration. The free in free verse could be
misleading. It is a bigger challenge. The game is tough to play where
there are no rules. If the poetry manages to bring out the metaphors,
imagery and personal music, well, it is good poetry. Read TS Eliot for
falling in love with the form. One of his poems, Alfred Prufrock is a
character but still it is a poem. Don't you love the post modern
concept that there are no rules as long as you are good at what you
are doing!
answers6: I love some free verse, others not so much. I like when
poetry (not necessarily rhymes) as a rhythm. Maybe not a rhythm
pattern but a certain sound to it. <br>
Prose poetry, I'm not as much a fan of, because in my opinion its
harder to pull off so most of what I've read isn't all that memorable.
<br>
I love lyrical prose! But technically I don't think it's poetry.
Beautiful, but doesn't have rhythm.
answers7: It all depends on rhythm when you embark on free verse or
any style that is nontraditional. I love rhythm and inner rhyme. I
have read so many great poems by student's of poetry. I don't like the
word amateur when it comes to being a poet, we are all learning poet's
if we write poetry. I know what I love and some of what I read has
stayed with me forever, to me that's poetry.
answers8: (Oscar Wilde, T. S. Eliot, Gertrude Stein, Sherwood
Anderson, Allen Ginsberg, Giannina Braschi, Seamus Heaney, Russell
Edson, Robert Bly, Charles Simic, Joseph Conrad.) Why don't you ask
any of the people on that list if free verse is poetry. When they tell
you of course it is, because it is concise, uses metaphor, and pays
special attention to the language, you can counter with some profound
statement about "amateurism".
answers9: Lyrical prose, as in a song, has to have at least some
rhythm and rhyme, or else it wouldn't fit the rhythm of the music.
Free verse is just prose made into lines from sentences. It's the same
as what's first written down as ideas for a theme before putting them
into rhythm and rhyme called a poem.
