Do you believe all this ---- about the 25 things that will be extinct ? ie; VCRs, Writing checks, honey bees ?

Ricardo Rozelle: The VCRs and writing checks, I see them as more of an evolution. Beta, to VHS, to DVDs, to DVRs and BlueRays. The marriage of cell phones, PDAs, and cameras into the modern day cell phones. Wax coated recording tubes, to LP records, to cassette tapes, to CDs, to MP3s. Manual typewriters, to electronic typewriters, to word processors, to computers that run word processing programs with laser printers. From carving knives and hammers to CAD programs and CNC machines and 3D printers. As technology advances, so do the ways in which we record the things around us and express ourselves.Personally, I'm more concerned with the bees. The extinction of them would be devastating to all of agriculture around the world....Show more

Jayson Brod: We can adapt without most of those but it may not be possible to replace the honey bees. I hope we can reduce the chemicals that they currently deal with. We could stop the chemicals to save the bees. Otherwise we ! will have a lot less crops to use those chemicals on. Right now it is a bit scary knowing that many foods we enjoy are in danger of no pollination when the honey bees are gone.

Luther Plagmann: I saw that on aol too, and I believe that most of it will probably dissapear soon, however I do not believe it will all go away just yet.
