3 Acting Questions Please Help?

answers1: An acting school teaches you to act. They teach you
techniques, both for stage, film, and commerial jobs, and also teach
you the business end of how to survive as an actor. They typically
cast you in their own productions so that you gain experiance, and a
good school will have teachers that will let you use their connections
to try and get entry-level gigs.

An acting agency takes people who are already actors and helps them
find auditions to try and get jobs. An agent doesn't get you jobs,
they only get you auditions for jobs, and once you land a job, they
take a percentage of your pay. Because they don't make money if you
don't make money, most agents won't bother with someone who hasn't
already learned the business and has head-shots and some experiance on
a resume to show.
You sound like you should start with the school.
answers2: an acting school is a wondrous, magical place where talented
people go to learn and perfect their already great talents, whereas an
acting agency is a place to go when you need an audition. I would
personally choose acting school first, because it's so much help, and
can open you up to greater things (if that makes sense)
answers3: An acting school sells classes in acting. An Acting agency
(more properly a Talent Agency) represents actors in negotiation for
acting jobs and tries to match actors with available auditions. Acting
school cost money. Reputable talent agencies do not charge you
anything, but take a percentage of what you earn from jobs they get
you.The acting industry frowns on talent agencies that also run acting
schools. Many people get around this (sort of) by calling themselves
Talent Management Agencies. You should not go to either until you are
sure it is worth while to do so. Eventually, if you are trying to
become a professional actor, you will need to go to some classes and
have an agent. First you should be in a lot of amateur plays to find
out if you have any ability worth spending money on for classes and
for the photos and other things you will need to become a professional
actor.
answers4: -a acting school is where a people teach you different
acting techniques on acting
-a acting agencies helps you book jobs and go to auditions

i think you should go to both because you nee to be good at acting to
book any jobs, so you need the school to get the proper training and
the agent to book the jobs.
hope i helped(:
good luck.
