answers1: My humanities teacher was one of the people who created the
SAT's and CLEP tests. So I got high scores on my SAT's and ART and
HISTORY CLEPS because our syllabus came right out of those tests.
answers2: That actually depends on you opinion on what is good
quality of life. To some its sitting in a hot tub asking your butler
for another martini. and for others its living in a forest growing
your own food. i think you should specify your question a little more.
answers3: my opinion is with stereotypes... humanities also influence
the quality of life by feeling superior to the minority if they
associate with the majority because truly there can never be much of a
balance in anything that can defer the laws of physics?
answers4: The bigger the scope, the broader the view.

How you Define Humanties & Explain Humanities?
answers1: Well, it depends..
answers2: Humanities refers to study of human creativity.
answers3: I also want to ask the same question
answers4: I don't know, it sounds like you are a little awkward with
the English language. Which is a real good place to start. Language,
the written word, poetry, anything you can describe, dramatize,
persuade, instill, inspire...all that is humanities. The full
definition of human beings must take into account ALL that he has
created on his (our) own--which is to say, culture. Humanities
integrates the full spectrum of the images of mankind, all
representative notions and objects and thereby give full reign to
human nature and human striving.

Does anyone have a humanities degree and is it possible to get a good job with this degree and what kind?
answers1: A Humanities degree is less useful than a 'specialized'
degree when seeking employment. I suggest you research the kind of
job you want -- more specifically than 'creative" and then find out
what kind of education or degree that job requires. If you want to be
a graphic artist, you would take a different major than if you wanted
to be an editor. Better to research this now than find out inf 4
years that you can't get the job you want with the degree you have.
You can look at the Department of Labor's Occupational outlook
handbook at <a href="http://www.bls.gov/oco"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.bls.gov/oco or talk to the
admissions officer at the school you want to attend if you want some
further guidance.

Are Art Institutes good schools to attend? Please Answer?
answers1: Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale
answers2: Those are kind of all the same thing? Art institute/art
school/art college are basically just terms to describe schools that
are dedicated specifically to teaching art. If you go to art school
then the classes you take will mainly only be art, there are some
academic classes but honestly except for art history related stuff and
some philosophy type classes they tend to be pretty bad. Everyone at
the school will be an artist which is both good and bad I guess:) You
can also go to a regular college/university like University of Kansas
or Notre Dame or UCLA or wherever and be an art major. They will have
an art department, you'd take more academic classes and see/hang out
with wider variety of students/majors, etc. Like other answers said
there is a chain of schools called 'Art Institute' schools that SUCK.
They are all owned by the same for profit company. There are other
(private, good) art schools though that also use Art Institute in
their names like Art Institute of Chicago, San Francisco Art
Institute, etc so it can be a little confusing.

Why is art added into food?
answers1: perhaps to introduce people to the word " art ". they get
curious and that leads ttem to visit an Art Gallery, wishful thinking
on my part.
answers2: Im a cook.
People eat with their eyes first. then smell. then taste.
A good presentation will cause the person to desire that food and make
them hungrier. A good presentation also states your skill level and ho
much the food is "worth"
Have you ever saw an ad. with food that made you crave it? what made
you hungry? its all about the presentation of the food.
hope this explains.
Allen
answers3: to make the food look good to eat.
if you made the vanilla and chocolate syrup mixed up or half on one
side and half on the other , it wont look as appealing as it on top
with a cherry on top!
answers4: Great cuisine pleases all the senses: Sight, smell and taste...

Besides, it's part of being Human to turn everything we can into art.
That's not a bad thing either... ;)
answers5: When you go out and eat and I'm not talking Long John's or
McDonalds, You are given a "dining experience".

The chef and his/her team are respossibly for that. Basically they're
playing to your senses. It has to smell good it has to taste good and
the texture of the food has to be correct. And it has to be visually
appealing, hence, food into art. Let's face it do you really want to
eat something that looks like it was puked onto your plate? No, that's
why all of these things have to be met. If one thing faulters you will
not enjoy you're meal as much as you can and chefs usually take great
pride in both their kitchen and the meal sent out.

I've actually eaten in places that I sat there and stared at my plate
it was presented so beautifully. When the server asked me if anything
was wrong I laughed and said "Yeah, It looks to good to eat!"
answers6: well...
* the ppl making it(chefs, moms, etc.) think it is fun.
*if it looks good, ppl will want to eat it
*no1 wants plain food
